Weekly update and More on Gardening (TR)

Greetings wizards,

First Off I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday and a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Lets see been spending all my last few days in test realm. Testing all the newest features. Starting to craft new Celestia furniture pieces to see what they look like. I absolutely love all the new stuff. The mossy covered tree trunks are so real like. elephant ears plants the broken down golem robot, Will soon become a very nice feature to a over grown forest I am ready to design when this all goes live. :) I am up to rank 4 gardener in test ,well almost level 5 and I got some pretty interesting plants planted. Snap dragons and evil snow peas are looking pretty awesome and the bread bushes are funny look like bread popping out of toasters. Here are a couple pictures of those.

Let's talk about some tips for gardening. Start off with a small garden Honey sickles seem to be the easiest to grow plant and harvest. They are the easiest to get to elder stage which gives the best rewards. Gnomes these little guys are important and needed for your plants to give harvests. I have tested with and without and the without has yet to give any harvest. Watch what you plant likes and dislikes Lets say if you plant a Desparagus near Laugh-o-dil They wont give harvest. Stay with the lower energy using spells if your garden is small enough it wont use that much energy. I am hoping KI gives us more energy or allow us to use mana instead. This will leave pet trainers the energy they still need and be able to garden at same time.

Gardens to die and wither away its pretty gross, it took 3 days for one of my gardens to wilt away, yes I was testing this. I hated going to that wizards house :(. Now I have heard from other players that it did not take 3 days so unsure why mine took 3 days , anyway here is a picture . :(

Misc. stuff in gardening One being Laugh-o-Dils, I was so thinking since dandelions roar these would laugh and make me giggle every time I walk by ,but no they blow rasberries O.o. So now I walk by them and go hrmf, silly things. ;) The garden I have is very large as it is all testing each plant and every time I go to that house it sounds like a jungle, roaring , popping, scarping, snapping and so much more, cannot wait to hear my prickly bear plant. :) looking for guides being made. Found this one on plants Wizard101 Central
If you have a guide please let me know so I can post it Here for my readers.

More fun stuff I cannot believe I have 54 followers I was shocked when I saw I went over 50, Thank you to all my readers and It is such a honor and a pleasure to write to you. even if I am not that great at it . :) Oh a Player drew me a picture of my death wizard Ill post the picture at the end of this segment, Thank you so much MJ. Oh! and I won this awesome mount rental from a Tiny twitter contest from A Mythspent Youth, thank you so much :). Remember to always make everything fun and until next time, happy house decorating.

Wizard101 Gardens (TR) Cont.

Greetings Wizards,

So I have been having much fun in test realm trying out all the newest features for gardening and the new furniture items.Made a simple garden As you see in the main picture of this post. I wanted to tell you a few things I have found out. Plants allowed for houses- Dorms-50 Small houses- 50, bigger world houses like the WC playhouse allow 100, school houses 100 same for the Palace and Watchtower. One thing to keep in mind pots count towards the furniture items. Watch your counts everyone.

Harvesting, Yes, I got to harvest my first plant. First harvest I got was a few coins and spider silk. Now remember I am doing this for housing not for anything else so those reagents will come in handy to make furniture items and of course These moving and awesome looking plants just add to my excitement. Here is a picture of what it looks like when you harvest.

More on the plants, these plants are so animated ,from exploding Boom Shrooms to the very sad Desparagus , we even got roaring Dandelions. I cannot wait to see some of the gardens players come up with when this goes live. As I am not a great guide maker I will leave the exact details of each for the awesome guides makers of the spiral. I can tell you that each plants grows at a different rate and needs different help spells , so make sure you train all those gardening spells. As I gain rank and new seeds Ill make sure to keep everyone updated. Until next time, happy house decorating.

Edited: I made rank 2 Gardener

Note from KingsIsle on Main web site
What you see on this Test Realm is still a work in progress, and while we appreciate your bug reports, please note this system is still subject to change

Farming comes to Wizard101(Test realm)

Greetings wizards,

That is right wizards the newest expansion coming to wizard101 is farming. Don't ya just love it? I know I do something new for housing! I am not one for pet leveling so I really don't use my pet energy, with new content expansion I now will have something for my pet energy to be used on and we get new content. :D KingsIsle is doing a awesome job keeping up with us.

Ok, ok ,I know back to farming. Moolinda Wu talks to you about farming, then you get to meet this cute little mole Farley the gardener, he will teach you how to take care of your plants. Gardeners are found in Golem court,Krokotopia ,Mooshuu and Celestia. Golem Court Gardener sells all the needs for the first steps of farming, pots, seeds, spells. He tells you to check out the stages of seeds which teaches you all about the stages of grow and also what can happen. Plants start as seedlings and grow until elder plants. Mature seeds can produce items such as reagents, pet snacks, treasure cards, gold or more seeds.

Spells you can train these spells do not take training points they only cost gold. I know simply awesome! Spells are by rank as you start with rank 1 I would buy all those rank 1 spells. These spells use energy ob the left side of the card it tells you how much. These spells give you everything you need to make a plot, plant and care for your seeds. such as sun, rain, pest control and music. Here is a picture of what it looks like when you plant needs something, use the inspect spell to find out what your plant needs, this one needed sun.

As my Plants are all still young plants, I am unable to say what I get from them, so be sure I will have a follow up post. I do want to show you a few pieces from another part of this update coming to wizard101 live realm. Celestian furniture!! Thats right we get new furniture items. I do still wish for new paper and flooring. I got a picture of some of the sold pieces, I'll post it below. There is also new crafted pieces , cannot wait to start checking those out. Hope you enjoyed this post. Until next time, happy house decorating.

Housing items ( buying at the bazaar)

Greetings wizards,

The bazaar ,yes the place we all wizards young and old go to get the most wanted items. I know we all understand and there are many guides on how to use the bazaar. What I want to show you is how to get those items you want. First off make sure you have room in your back pack and enough gold to buy anything you see you might like as a fast pace, remember there are others that might want that same item.

Now you are ready, There are 2 ways to search for items one being # of items in stock and one being cost. Lets click on # in stock Click on it one time, this will take you to every single item that has only 1 in stock. Most of these are the hardest to find. Next way is cost by clicking on cost twice it will lead you to the most expensive items.

Now that we got those covered, lets do some fast shopping. Click on the type of items you want like lets say furniture, I go to highest price for the item I am looking for today which are mini games. steps are click on bed icon-cost twice- repeat until you find the item you want and then buy takes you clicking on item and then on buy -no hesitating- that will cost you the item you want. This all takes some practice and fast buying. Hope this helps some wizards get those more wanted items, Until next ,happy house decorating.

MooShu Gardens, Learn something new.

Greetings wizards,

I have learn something new for my housing readers. MooShu gardens :). I was not the person who found this but you know me I wont leave them the way they look. :) This is a crafted item Sold by Eudora Tangletree in Olde town. Very simple recipe and you use the basic crafting table.

Off to decorating, Now like I said you know me I want my housing to be as real looking as possible, so this being said all gardens must have plants :). I found one that could be pineapples, of course must have my very own lotus garden and some wild bamboo, hum wait I see mushrooms growing will have to fix that later on ;). This was very simple to create small blue trimmed rug and tic tac toe board or chessboard, place rug then board and move only rug to area you want garden. Place all the objects you want in your garden on the board and pick up the rug, now you can place your garden right over the top. Add you details these items make or break your area, like my shovel and wheel barrel. Behold my own version of Wizard101 gardens.

Paige's Thoughts, Weekly Post

Greetings wizards,

Today I just want to talk a bit. Weekly update 2 of my wizards are now level 58 fire and Balance and loving the new spells. I got my Level 58 Balance robe (by going with a friend) loving the pip% but still unsure of the rating stats and how they will work, I do wish level 58 gear gave better resist, unsure if I will keep it on or crowned gear. I won my level 55 wand spyglass still looks like a flashlight to me :) I wish we could stitch wands ,I am missing my Bunny staff. Now I am all about trying to own all new wands to add to my collection on my death wizard :).

Been helping many wizards through the Grotto. The special bosses have become very easy. No blades traps nothing. Egglis only use small spells, no spells over 3 pips X spells are ok here. Cuthalla Only use big spells meaning only spells 5 pips and over , no X spells.

My Fire and Balance are now in the Crustacean Empire at level 59. Started designing outfits for my other wizards. My newest outfit Is for my life wizard, tell me what you think?

My life has made it to the District of Stars and battling guards, cannot wait to get the Forest Lord spell. Still looks like a Wookie :P. Enough about me, tell me about your fun experiences and accomplishments you have done in wizard101. Until next time ,happy spell casting.
