Housing Showcase Cody RavenThorn

Greetings wizards,

I got the pleasure to visit a wonderful MFP this last week, simply awesome is all I can say. The designer of this house is Cody RavenThorn. He took much thought to make a completed detailed tropical house which includes a beach front and oceans.

Cody also went underground and made a complete area under the arena, this area is full of lush plants ,water and landings. I was under when they were battling as I watch above me one player casted a leviathan and I swear that thing came all the way down to where I was and tried to get me. It was pretty awesome! Here are a couple of pictures of the under and of the arena area, I also posted a picture at the start of this segment of the beautiful fountain Cody designed.

As I went inside this house I knew I was about to take a trip to an exciting place. First area I went to was a sandy beach front with water oceans I swear I heard the waves crashing in. There was fish cooking and even a cabana for anyone who wanted a rest. I had a good laugh at Cody's defenses for his little tropical paradise, what could be better than Wildclaws ready to shoot off pet cannons. As I traveled up I came to a maze of tropical palm trees and little out coves, there was even a little wading pool perfect to let your pet have a drink of water. There was another little area that would be great for a rest spot or good meditation in a shark hut . I set all these areas in a slide show. I hope you enjoy this house as much as I did.

I am sure there were so many places in Cody's house I did not even see them all. I do hope to return to his house again or maybe even showcase another one day. If you know Cody do not forget to see this house in person as pictures never do a house justice. Oh wait I got this little gem of a view I thought my readers might enjoy It is the inside of a water fountain, very pretty! So until next time, happy house decorating.

Wizard(101) Emerald City

Greetings Wizards,

I finally got my inside of my Oz house completed. I think the hardest part I had was the green. O.o There aren't that many green walls or floorings in Wizard101. I believe I changed the walls a over and over with every green background there is, It really needed to pop! I ended up going with the the green Arboreal Wallpaper and Wavy Grass. I made 6 areas for this piece the to Emerald City, a ball room, walking paths , the wizard, & the wicked witches tower. I think I'll use the slide show to show this house as I had some wonderful friends come and help me with the ball Room scene I wanted. Thank you all so very much meant a lot.

On to the house I have a few scences of the ball room , I never realized how hard it was to actually get it to look like wizards are in a ball room dance. I decided to make a slide show for these images. They really do show how much fun we are were having trying to make it look like a dance. I even had someone try to pour water on me cause I was dress like the wicked witch.

We are off to see the Wizard, I decorated a few rooms on the way but the best parts are the Horse of a different color,my Fog unicorn made this perfect. Thank you to the person who mentioned it. The 3 Images below show the way to the Wizard(fog uni), the Wizard and the Wicked witches tower. Hope you enjoy them.

Players  ask me all the time, how do you decorate so many houses? It passion, I decorate because it makes me feel good. I love to see players enjoy my houses and I love to see players enjoy their houses. Wizard101 Housing has come so far in the past 2 years and I am thinking about going back to some of those early houses and redoing some. I will post some before and after shots in days to come. One thing I want to say to all my readers. Just remember we are all decorators even if you place a few items randomly or do themes its the passion & fun you have decorating that counts. Until next time, happy house decorating.

Housing Showcase Christina IceDreamer

Greetings Wizards.

I had a chance to visit Christina IceDreamer's MFP house and she was gracious enough to let me take screenshots for my readers. When you first go to her house It feels like you landed in a land of ice this made my ice wizard right at home .:) I got laughed when I saw her security system all along the wall Robots with pet cannons just waiting to remove any one acting up. Around the outside of house you come to Ambrose watching over her hedge maze. There is even a nice little area to have those outside parties. I went into the arena area, I felt a warmth come over me this area is more for Professor Falmea, Spectacular view of suns and banners ready for any heated battle. I ran quickly inside for fear of my Ice wizard melting. Once inside the house you find a room for a dinner party,a sandy desert room and a Kitty party! There is even a room for bad people to stay in. I made a slide show of her house I do hope you enjoy this house as much as I did.

I wanted to give one more showcase piece of Kevin BattleBlood's Pet chess set. I had the opportunity to play awhile back ,very good and interesting idea :) I don't know I think he was winning ;) .

If you would like me to showcase your Wizard101 house, you can find me at Wizard101 Central ,my blog , Twitter or Diary of a Wizard. Please remember to Follow the rules for each site, as each vary. Until next time ,happy house decorating.

Wow what a week

Greetings Wizards,

I have had one busy week. Been decorating the new houses, lots of crafting.I believe my Celestial Observatory is pretty much completed just minor things still being crafted as in the coconut drinks and I am missing a dropped table . I'll post a video at the end of this update. Please forgive me for the quality and there is a pause between going from outside house to going inside, I am not very good at making these, sorry. I am calling this house my Celestian Space Station Biodome, my friend Alric actually gave me the name . ;)
Been working on my Island Getaway, Beach area in pretty much done. I wanted to give it that island resort feel. I actually have one picture of the beginning of that house. Here is the start of the beach area.

Let's see other stuff seems red Jello and koolaid has taken over the spiral(it's ok it will be fix soon enough). Floating furniture is a bit harder But still can be done, patience wizards and everything will work out. Your are still able to use creates and boards and rugs just turning them makes them get stuck, a few suggestions. Make sure you are inline to where you want your item to go this away you do not have to turn the rug and board once placed.Trial and error and a lot of patience and you can still get the look you want. I was at my friends Kevin's Celestia house and we were trying to catch a comet we got pretty close in this image .

Other news:
Friday There is a PvP Party: Welcoming CL Housing Over at Diary of a Wizard, to find out more go to

Sunday Big staff/Member party over at Wizard101 Central , to find out more go to March Madness. I see much happening contests, PvP & races!
