Happy Wizard101 6th Year Celebration!!

Wow another year has flown by, it seems like only yesterday I took my very first steps into Firecat Alley, I say Firecat Alley because that is where I decided that this game was going to played for a very long time. Was I kidding? Nope! Wizard101 has taken on speed and has never stopped growing.

 Throughout the years I have met some really awesome friends, yes you! I have said hello and  see ya soon to many players. I've watched Wizard101 branch out to Pirate101. Watched a community manager become what she wanted to be, a Game Designer. We welcomed new Community managers, Leala and Tom "The dynamic duo". I'm so honored to be a part of this growing world of Wizard101. May you have many more years to come.

When housing came out in 2009 it was all over for me, from my very first Royal Playhouse to the new Build a Castles. I have been a housing Wizard ever since. I remember the very first time I decorated I placed things around and made a Birthday party house. It wasn't the best but I thought it was a grand house. Now look at us Wizards, we're building our own houses! Did you get your Birthday Gala Gazebo for Wizard101 6th year celebration?

Wizard101 has kicked off this 6th year celebration early with the free Birthday Gala Gazebo, shown above.  All the birthday decorations, even those fun to find presents, all over the Spiral. Wizard101 Mini Update-Fun in commons.

Every so often I decide to get a bunch of Wizards from Twitter together for fun time in Wizard101 Commons. This time it was snowmen. We had so many snowmen that one person *cough* Alric from Petnome decided He wanted to be the odd man out and be a Fire elemental. You shloud of seen us snowmen try to cool Him off. Pirate101 Test Realm-Arrgust 2014

The Tower of Moo Manchu or as I like to call it Mad Cow Tower. This is a extremely fun though very challenging tower. Fun dialogue with even a part where they make you want to be evil. Warning Don't drink the elixir. I sure wanted to though. The group I was with Chrissy ,Alyssa and myself. I think we has a blast of a good time. Some really great drops from this tower,  from a mask (posted below) to corrupted pets , furniture even a Musketeer weapon I wish I could use. I can sure stitch it to a lower level though.

New earrings and glasses make for more unique pirates , I do wish we could wear like a gold loop and a eye patch together I feel these should be separate from the eye patch. I would love to wear both.

Flag changing every get tired of your ship flag? Well now you can change it and see what your companions will look like. I know some pirate were not liking their colors after they made their awesome flags.

Last up  Cool ranch has a way to easy travel from one skyway to another. Just take a ride on the stage coach to get where you want to go.. Pretty cool right? All these updates and more can be read about at Pirate101 Update Notes

Wizard101 Guest Poster-Calamity PixieShade

Many times when I decorate my houses I'd often wish I could add a bit more personality to the room.  I intentionally seek out animated items for some movement or I use mannequins to give the room a more lively feel, but sometimes times my rooms still feel empty.  Plants with their fun personalities and movement are the perfect solution.  Ever since Roger the Shrubber was introduced in Avalon with his Second Spring spell I have been wanting to make a gardening plant themed house, but real life put those plans on hold for a while.  When the new treetop getaway house was introduced I knew it was time to try.  I mean where else would plants live but in a treehouse?

When I started my project I had a few questions and concerns.  How on earth would I get the energy to put all those plants in second spring?  How could I take care of all their needs with out spending a small fortune?  Grub Guardian was the answer!  Using the Wysteria maps I stocked up on Wyverns Hoard packs (for the greenwarden energy gear), energy elixirs,  and Moolinda Wu packs.  Using these items and a bit time I have transformed my treehouse into a fun animated plant haven.

The second spring spell allows you to freeze plants permanently in a mature state once they reach elder.  That means there are no longer any needs to take care of and you can use them as a decoration.  Most of the time I see people use this spell to give their gardens a permeant like, but freezing a plant in  the right area can really bring a house to life. Anyone else keep thinking, it would be really fun to put some couch potatoes in a living room scene?  My treetop getaway has over 60 plants frozen in the second spring state.  The plants are in every sort of scene from a mundane living room, to a classroom, a western saloon, a zoo, a garden wedding and many many more.  This house is currently available on the housing tours under the magical category. Busy week

Sorry not much to post about this week. I have been so busy with contests and real life. I will show you a castle I built in Wizard101. In Pirate101 I'm still trying to get the tatami mats to drop. I must have the worst luck. I will get them sooner or later though. Going to start on my next house in Pirate101 soon. Oh and don't forget if you want to be a guest blogger on Paige's Page look Here. Pirate101 Hideout- Noble Felix Yellowfish

Welcome to Felix's "Grotto of Miracles". Felix uses his love of statues to create full theme. From the very first time stepping of my ship I was able to see how much Felix cared for his hideout. From dancing statues who show a silhouette of dancers , to crystals placed just in the right places. He even has a little area for his pets. 

Felix has 2 favorite areas , The Summoning Temple and his Library. I have to agree that Summoning Temple was pretty awesome, so was the library. I think my favorite area was the little graveyard he made. Felix had it all , even a fortune tellers table. Thank you Felix for this wonder Pirate hideout tour.
