Do you like to decorate?
The Fourth Annual Best Little Dorm in Wizard City contest starts now! Hurry! You only have until July 21, 2013 6:00 pm Central to enter.
This isn't just any little old decorating contest, though. There are twists and turns ahead!
First twist: Decorate your dorm to represent what you think your Favorite Pet’s Natural Habitat themed dorm would be like.
Example: A fish wouldn't be in a bed room or a flying pet in a cage. They would be in water or flying free. "Favorite Pet’s Natural Habitat" Where the pet would live in nature.
The turn: You must use all 5 items below.
1. Jar- Can be any type of jar. The word Jar has to be part of the item. Example: Empty jar.
2. Wall hanging- Can be any type of wall hanging or picture.
3. Rock/stone - Can be one rock/stone or many types of rocks/stones. Be creative with your choice of rock item.
4. Yellow - The color yellow any item that is or has the color yellow on it. Pet, wallpaper or flooring will NOT count as yellow item.
5. Crafting - Any Crafted item, your choice (You must say in paragraph which item you crafted)
Wait! There is one more twist to this contest.
Second twist: Both paragraphs are important
Write 2 paragraphs :
Paragraph 1 -Write about how your dorm represents your Favorite Pet’s Natural Habitat.
Paragraph 2 - Write about how you used the 5 special items in your dorm.
( Be sure to tell the Judges how you used each of the 5 items and how they worked into your Pet’s Natural Habitat themed design.)
( You may add a title.)

* Using all 5 items pictured above, you must decorate your dorm in your Favorite Pet’s Natural Habitat Theme.
* This contest begins July 8, 2013 and ends July 21, 2013 at 6pm (Wizard101) Central time.
* You may use as many other items as you wish to make your dorm complete.
* You may only enter once.
* 2 Paragraphs must be sent with your entry screenshots.

B. Your favorite pet must be in one of the screenshots. (Shown in it's Natural Habitat)
C. One best over all screenshot of your dorm room

* To be fair to all entries you must stay within the dorm room space. (If you use floating technique you must stay within the walls of your dorm room.)

How to enter:
Following the official rules posted above, you will decorate your dorm In your Favorite Pet’s Natural Habitat theme and submit with no more than 3 screen shots of your dorm along with your 2 paragraphs by July 21, 2012 at 6:00 PM Central US time.

Late entries will not be accepted. Please make sure it is correct before sending your entry in. Any entry with more than 3 screenshots and more than 2 paragraphs will be immediately disqualified. No exceptions." No editing will be allowed on screenshots. Please take your time and make sure everything is just how you want it.

DeleteI think I found an easy way to win this...using the EYE pets...they're not really any type of species...so if you wanted...for those struggling out there....try getting one then using the junk from your attic and put something together...be creative...I'm struggling myself but I don't really want to resort to this...

Paige, I have a silly request. I can't seem to get a snapshot with my tablet or phone. So I wondered, if i could use hyper cam, it lets me take a snapshot/second video. I know I'll disqualified for that :( :( :(

DeleteI am planning to make my dorm look like a habitat from a certain place in a certain world. Idk how much it will actually look like that place; however it will definitely fit my pet well. If I say it is a habitat modeled on "certain place" where my pet used to live, and it doesn't fit that place very well (but it does fit my pet perfectly) would that make me lose points? Cause if it would, I just won't say what part of what world the pet came from.

Hey Paige! I was wondering, can 2 items overlap in requirements? For example, if I were to craft a jar of mushrooms, would it count both as a crafted item and as a jar?

DeleteMy pet lives in the forest, but not many trees can be placed inside the dorm. Could I have some trees in the on the edge of the dorm, and maybe but a campfire or picnic in the center?
