My first contest will be to Decorate your Dorm in a Halloween theme. Simple enough?

* All entries for this decorating contest must be in by no later than October 8th 6 pm central. Winners will be announced the 10th by 6pm central in a new blog post.
* Floating is allowed but you must stay within the walls of your dorm room.

Welcome to the House of Doom!

October 5th and 19th I will be hosting 1 party 1 tour date in the House of Doom. This haunted fun house has both mini games in one big maze! Beware though the house gets hungry and likes to keep it's guests. During the party you may be able to win a random Halloween pack for winning a mini game. How do you get to the party?

Let's Talk Pirate101 Furniture. Beta Segment 3

Today's segment is for the Flotsam housing vender.  Pirate101 has come up with some very interesting items for this vender. I decided to decorate the first house all Pirates receive which is your very own bunk house. I am going to use these items to decorate my bunk house.

The bunk house comes with the basics any Pirate would need. A place to sleep, sit to plan out adventures and a place to put your treasures. As you can see in this image above this bunk house already looks great like it is but i bet we can add some more life to it.

 Lets click on the place items icon and open up the items list of the items we just bought from Flotsam, look at all that great stuff! I got a new flooring ,some wall hangings, furniture and most of all my favorite piece the sink! These items are all found at Flotsam vender.

Once I have all my items placed I moved them around a bit  and behold a Pirate hideout fit for any Pirate ready to set out on their adventures through the skyways. The gold pile was the only things I added which I received from a quest. I removed the red torn rug and replaced with this royal blue to go with the sofa and chair added wall hangings and lighting. Mini update- Double house sneak peek

Greetings Wizards,

I know it has been a bit since my last update. I am truly sorry I am working very hard on my WUS (Wizard University of the Spiral) Wysteria house. Also working to complete my Winter Winds castle both of these I believe all my readers will enjoy, at least I am. I will give 2 sneak peeks, two of each house. The first two images are of the WUS house and the last two images are of the Winter Winds which I am naming Traveling the Spiral.

Let's Talk Pirate101 Furniture. Beta Segment Two

Today's segment is for the Rapa Nui housing vender. The Rapa Nui vender has some really amazing decorations, some seen in Wizard101 and some new for Pirate101 which makes for some really interesting decorating.

Rapa Nui has the palm trees and my favorite elephant ear plants for all those greenery needs. These plants give each house more demotions because now you can walk through planted areas and give that jungle feel to any area.

Wall hangings and furniture include; watermole shields , spear and this fantastic mounted Batacunda. Oh check out that really detailed wall paper there. Rapa Nui has some really nice looking paper and flooring.

Last but not least is outdoor and decorations. Rapa Nui has some of the most interesting decorations and outdoor pieces , one is this straw hut you can actually walk through. I can see tunnels being made to using them as simple houses like I did in this village i created. There is a boat I shown in a previous segment and check out that bamboo wall and straw umbrella! We also get food items such as fish, drinks and a pineapple. Hope all my readers enjoyed this segment, until next time happy house decorating.

Housing Showcase-Savannah FrostGem

Savannah's Celestian Observatory was such a pleasure to visit, so much detail was added to each area. First arriving at the house I was looking at a grand arena area with trees and statues each place it the perfect spot. Savannah had told me her favorite area are the grand entry and her history room though I really love this small area where she made a arch with crab apple trees  and a wraith statue.

My next favorite area was this fantastic trip into space. I simple love how she used the great spiral rugs for that added clear view for walk path simply splendid. Let's Talk Pirate101 Furniture. Beta Segment One

We all know about the fantastic sink which is my favorite item, so far. I want to talk about all the other furniture items. These items are the ones that make any added details to your Pirate101 housing. I have posted about the fantastic sofas and chairs but I want to talk about details. These items consist of books, candles and those much needed items to place on tables to add that detail of a Pirate living in the house.

So far I have found housing venders in Skull Island, Rapa Nui, Flotsam, Port Regal and Mooshu. I am still on the hunt searching each area to see if there are any more. Each of these venders sell some items we have all seen before and then they have these items that are unique to Pirate101. In this first segment I will talk about the really fun detail items from Skull Island vender. 

First off we have Skull Island plants, as you can see both houses have these amazing palm trees and unique details but add some of these plants and the house becomes very much alive I simply love these big pink flowers and fern,

Decorations and wall hangings add that much needed detail to the inside of the house. Details such as ship wheel and shark teeth wall hangings to treasure chests and weapons to place on shelves. There is even a map with a x marks the spot to place on top of desk for a Pirate to plan out that treasure hunting adventure.

Outdoor items are statues and this amazing detailed draped A framed tent. You can see that the look of the fabric is so detailed that it feels so real. I added a barrel and a old metal bucket for the details needed to complete this little camping area. Hope all my readers enjoyed this first segment on housing details for Pirate101.
